Chapter 1165 - Quarter-Finals

Julian got ready and headed towards the grand stadium, not even halfway near the stadium and he could already hear the voice of people asking for the battles to start.

When he arrived at the stadium he could see people gathered around the stadium as they stared at the massive screens around the stadium, since the league didn\'t have any more space inside the stadium, they decided to stream the battles on massive screens around the stadium.

But, Of course, watching the battles on such massive screens doesn\'t come for free, the league will try to make as much money as possible through this conference.

With all these massive screens around the stadium, it looked like a drive-in cinema but with multiple screens all around the stadium.

Julian made his way around the stadium and went in, he then found the waiting room and like always he was the last person to reach the waiting room, there were already three people inside waiting for the quarter-finals to start as well.

When Julian walked in, all of them turned their head and looked at him, one among them is Ash, and the others being Byron and Sena.

Byron and Sena made it to hear meaning they have a great future and they can be one of the elite four in the future but to do that they need to work hard. As for Ash, he is just excited to battle and, win the league.

Ash\'s mood lightened up when he saw Julian and he talked with Julian about his opponent, Ash\'s opponent is Megan and she has proved herself to be an exceptional contender in this league conference, she has a dominant performance throughout the whole tournament and is definitely a contender for one of the future elite four of Kalos in Julian\'s eyes.

Ash will have a tough battle but Julian believes that he will win and advance to the semi-finals.

Julian waited alongside Ash as time passed, the crowd is getting restless as they wanted the battles to begin, after half an hour, the quarter-finals finally began.

The first two contenders were called into the battlefield and they are Alain and Sena.

Sena walked out of the waiting room as Julian watched her leave, he knew that Sena is not going to win, she is good but not as good as Alain.

With both of them entering the battlefield, they got the crowd\'s undivided attention, this is quarter-finals and people were not holding back to express their excitement.

With people packed both inside and outside the stadium, their voices were defining to one\'s ears.

Both Alain and his opponent took the stage and began the battle.

It was a tough one, Alain was surprisingly pushed quite a lot and he had to mega evolve his Charizard to finally take down his opponent\'s pokemon.

Alain came out the victor as Julian had predicted, his opponent Sena could only cry in frustration, she worked hard and wanted to win but she felt she was not good enough. When people reach the top they want to become the best among the top and Sena is one of them, it almost becomes an obsession to become to best, and today\'s failure will hurt Sena.

Once the battlefield was clear, within fifteen minutes the next battle began.

The second round of the quarter-finals, is between Ash and Megan.

Both of them were called into the battlefield and were explained the rules of the battle, the referee then asked them to choose their pokemon.

Megan\'s first choice was a Diggersby and Ash sent out his Goodra.

Julian was surprised seeing Ash own a Goodra, a pseudo legendary pokemon and from the looks of it, it looks quite strong.

The battle started and Ash\'s Goodra dominated, even though the Diggersby was quite powerful, it could handle the power of a Pseudo legendary pokemon.

Megan was surprised by the outcome and sent out her next pokemon into the battlefield, a massive pokemon called Tyrantrum.

The battle between Tyrantrum and Goodra was intense, even though Tyrantrum is not a pseudo legendary pokemon, it is able to go head to head with Goodra and even overpower it in a few of its exchanges but Goodra is still a pseudo legendary pokemon, while it might not have an upper hand in a physical battle against the Tyrantrum, it still outclasses it in every other aspect.

Goodra soon put the Tyrantrum to sleep after a devastating Power Whip which knocked the wind out of the Tyrantrum, once Tyrantrum was down Ash sent Goodra back to its Pokeball as well since it got very tired after two consecutive wins.

Megan sent out her final pokemon, Sylveon. Ash, on the other hand, sent out his Talonflame into the battlefield.

The battle continued and it was very fierce, after a gruesome exchange between the two pokemon, Ash\'s Talonflame got knocked out so Ash was forced to send out his next pokemon.

His last choice was Hawlucha which ended the battle with one powerful High Knee because Sylveon was already exhausted and tired from its battle against Talonflame.

With all three of Megan\'s pokemon knocked out, Ash advanced to the semi-finals.
